Students will make a Nantucket coaster basket. The basket is 5 1/2" in diameter and 3 1/2" tall. The staves and weavers are cane. The base and rim are handcrafted cherry. The basket holds the wet stone coasters. It is also great as a wine coaster.
Time will be taken during class to discuss wood preperation and step designs.
