Making a 9" Creel Purse
This beautiful 9 inch purse is made with cane and has leather straps and hinges. The lid and base are walnut. The one on the left is new and the one on the right has a 9 year aged patina.

The cane staves are inserted into the base.

Notice the use of tapered and non tapered staves.

The staves are held in place with a rubber band.

The weaving is started.
