Handmade Reed Baskets

This basket was designed by a church organist's to carry her music. It has a solid woven bottom that is reinforced with flat oval reed. The basket is 16 1/2" by 6 5/8" by 8". The handles swing down out of the way to place objects in the basket and swing back up to carry the basket.

Designed to help me stay organized. Place the Take a Note basket any where you may need to write a quick note. The pad of paper and pencil are always right where you need them. Wood base and slanted sides 5” x 3” x 3 ½”.

A great little basket for gifts or to hold items around the house or office such as splenda, tea, small notepads, candy, rubber bands, hair ties, ect. Each basket comes with a maple strip handpainted by Linda Fitzgerald of Camden, DE. A variety of designs are available. Please call or email to request a specific design. The Dee’s Shopping Basket was designed to use when shopping or running errands. It was named after my beloved Grandmama Dee. The basket has a solid woven bottom. It is lightweight but very sturdy. Call or email to request a color choice. The basket is7” x 14” x 10” not including the handles.

Named after my friend, Julia Cummins~This is a small market basket with an easy braided border. Braided seagrass is woven in the basket as an accent. The basket measures 6” x 9” x 5” not including the handle.

Designed by Linda Sydell with input from Joyce Ross, both quilters. The basket was designed to hold the current quilting project and has a solid woven bottom. One side of the basket has a pocket to hold items like scissors, rulers, pencils, ect. The opposite side has oak dowel holders that hold brass dowels for spools of thread. The rim is a pin cushion.
