A Quickie in June

Hello everyone.  

This is just a quick blog while Joni and I are spending a couple of weeks at home in Summerfield, NC.  

We get to see the family, take a breather, and I even got to try out my new fly rod from Father's Day.

We Would like to update you on some changes to our website.  

Over the last couple of weeks, we have made numerous changes to the www.handmadencbaskets.com, including:

Multiple new pictures, pricing updates, new event dates, etc.  

We have added new pictures to the photo gallery, and have added several new items to the Projects page, including:

Guest Towel Basket,

Tissue Box Basket,

Desk Set,

Ebony Accents,

Aaronia's Basket,

Color Burst,

Jude's Utensil,

Wauwinet,

A smaller version (#3) of the Lakeside, and

4" and 6" Heart baskets.  

7" Version of the Flare-Thee-Well.

We are also excited to launch our New Basket Sales Page.

Baskets for sale are handmade by Joni-Dee and/or with David.

We hope to add wood working items, such as Shaker Boxes, in the future.

We would also like to introduce the next two baskets in the Monkey Trap Series.  

These are the 5" Raccoon Trap and the 3" Chipmunk Trap.  

Joni's version of the raccoon Trap is in Purple Heart, and her Chipmunk Trap is in Yellow Heart with Walnut staves.  The Chipmunk Trap, at 3'' in diameter, also serves as the Bonsai Trap Basket.

All of these new baskets are now posted on the Projects Page. 

Joni and I will be home for the next couple of weeks, then we are off to Atlanta for a private event, then on to the Tennessee Basket Association convention at Fall Creek Falls State Park.
