Final day at the Wooden Boat School

This is our last day at the Wooden Boat School in Maine.  We have had a wonderful experience this week. Joni and I have talked about building a sailboat/rowing boat for years and it has truly been a joy to finally do it this week.  When we look back at the pictures of the pile of wood parts we met Monday morning, and then see the (almost) completed boat on Saturday, we have to grin.

We hope we haven't come off like we are bragging, because we are not.  We are just pinching ourselves because of the awesome experience we have had.  The Wooden Boat School staff have done a great job in creating a beautiful and comfortable learning experience, and we highly recommend it to anyone wanting to build a boat, learn to sail, or just spend some time in Maine.

Take care everyone, and we look forward to seeing you back in the basket world soon!

David
