Weekend at SPCA in Aiken, SC

A real quick one today - We just finished a weekend basket workshop held at the SPCA located on Willow Road in Aiken, SC. This SPCA is a very nice modern facility, as you can see from the photos. In particular, here you will not only see a lot of cute dogs hoping for a new home, but also find Cat Heaven (well, except for the fact that they are tempted by a large aquarium full of tasty fishes right in the middle of the cat’s area!).

The SPCA’s Dog-Wash-Fundraiser was held this weekend during our class, so we were able to watch stoic canines getting scrubbed from behind the confines of cool, dry, glass windows while weaving!

We will be home for a few weeks trying to clear the backlog of baskets we need to finish, so we appreciate your patience. Also, please share our excitement about the upcoming birth of our third grandchild in early june!
